In this policy we will refer to you as “Interested person” too, that is the person to which the personal data collected refer. What data we collect?

Through the Site we collect the following data: - Browsing data: the information systems of the Site collect some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. It consists of information not collected to be associated to you but that by their very nature, through processing and associations with data in possession of third parties, may allow to identify you. This information includes:

  • IP address;
  • URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) of the resources required;
  • time and date of the interaction with the Site;
  • the type of operating system, the browser used, the screen resolution and other technical information about the device used.

- Data communicated voluntarily (for instance name, e-mail address, invoicing details): it is used, in compliance with the applicable law, for the purposes indicated in any form or during a purchase, and further detailed in this Policy. The provision of the data required is necessary for the Data controller to provide the services contractually established. The data you communicate must be referred to you or third parties that expressly authorise you to communicate them and, in this case, by communicating them you assume the relevant obligations and responsibilities.

How we use your data? On what legal basis?

Any time that Eumedica processes your data, there is a legal basis that legitimises the processing.
Sometimes we require your consent to process personal data, for instance to allow the installation of profiling cookies or for sending newsletters.
Other times, when provided by the law and notwithstanding the respect of your fundamental rights, Eumedica is not obliged to ask your consent to data treatment. This occurs when the data is treated for a legal obligation or following your request, that you communicated by contacting Eumedica and/or asking for specific services. Sometimes we use the data by virtue of our interest, that we are going to define later in this policy, and that we deem “legitimate” as it does not have a substantial impact on your rights.
The failure to provide the data indicated as “compulsory” in any form may make it impossible to reply to your request or comply with a legal obligation of Eumedica. Once the period of data retention has passed, the personal data collected will be irreversibly cancelled.

The services offered through the Site are intended for users of legal age. If you are minor, you mustn’t communicate your data to Data controller and you can’t use the services offered. Is my data shared with others?

Your e-mail address may be communicated to the manager of the newsletter service.
If you make a purchase through the e-commerce section, the data you communicate to create your account and/or to make the purchase may be communicated to specific and identifiable persons.
Your data will be probably accessed, in particular:

  • by persons authorised by us to the treatment, who engage in maintaining their confidentiality or have an appropriate confidentiality legal obligation;
  • the persons who carry out Site maintenance and our legal or fiscal consultants, as independent Data processors or controllers;
  • the forwarding agent we use to deliver the products purchased.

If you accept cookies of third parties, the data collected will be shared with the persons indicated in our Cookie Policy.
To make payments, you’ll be redirected to PayPal website, that will treat the data communicated as independent Data controller.
The Site includes links to social network sites, in order to allow an easy access to the contents distributed through them. They are simple links to social networking platforms and no data is communicated to these platforms through the Site, except when you provide your consent. The cookies can be activated, if so provided for by social networks, only when you click on the relevant icons. Please note that if you browse being logged in to the social network, then you have already given your consent to the use of cookies conveyed through this Site and potentially to the sharing of other contents. The collection and use of the information obtained by social networks are regulated by the relevant privacy policies, to which you have to refer.

How can I cancel my personal data?

Please consider that, if you made purchases through the e-commerce, the data necessary for their management and invoicing may be further retained by Eumedica according to what provided for in this policy. What are my rights as Interested person?

We will always ensure you the control over your personal data.
In particular, you have the right to:

  • ask for information about your personal data treated by Eumedica and ask for a copy in a structured and readable form, also through the section “My profile” on the Site;
  • not to be subject to automated decisions, if you do not give your consent;
  • ask Data controller to correct data referable to you that result to be incorrect, to cancel it or to use it only for specific purposes;
  • change idea and ask us not to use your data any more, for instance by deactivating third party cookies or by cancelling your account.

You have in any case the right to submit a claim to the competent control authority (Guarantor for the protection of personal data) if you think that the treatment of your personal data is contrary to current laws.

Where is my data saved?

We store your data in servers located in Italy. However, the data collected through third party cookies and the one treated through services offered by other persons as Data processors may be transferred to third countries, as indicated in the relevant Privacy policies. We specify that the third parties to which we communicate your data declare that the transfer of personal data is subject to an appropriate level of protection of the rights of the Interested person because one or more conditions provided for by art. 45-47 of GDPR are met.

How will I be informed of the changes to this policy?

Eumedica will update this policy when it deems it necessary. In case of substantial changes, in particular relevant to the purposes for which we use your personal data, we will inform you by e-mail if you have a registered account or made purchases through e-commerce.
If you will not agree with the changes, you can stop using our services, by cancelling your account and/or stopping communicating to us other personal data.
